667258 2008-05-08 08:10:00 Partly yes. I don't offer ASP (and nor should I in many people's opinions!).

But feel free to PM me with how much bandwidth and disk space you require and any other relevant info and I may be able to offer you a very well priced solution.

667259 2008-05-09 04:06:00 If you need ASP, then it would be best to go for a Windows server. Can't make any recommendations as I've always used Linux. For domain names, GoDaddy is great (not so much for hosting). :) maccrazy (6741)

667261 2008-05-09 12:05:00 Bluehost (www.bluehost.com/) seems to be mentioned frequently in USA web forums that I'm involved with...

Currently I use a free host for one of my sites, to get an idea whether to upgrade to a paid version. Depending on the function and complexity of your site, it could be a way to trial a web site for the first time - if you don't mind limitations, restriction, and ads, etc. Then decide to go for a paid host. Huge list here... (boy.us.com)

thanks,

One of the providers I use allows you to switch between windows or linux servers. However it isn't in the budget priced range, that you can get linux hosting at.
