| 666892 | 2008-05-07 05:30:00 | Hi all, I have found that often when I play music on my PC (Vista) using Windows Media Player the CPU temperature increases quickly, then the temp gradually drops off to where it was before WMP was opened after 15-30 mins. I turn off the visualisations and run it in mini-mode. Is this a direct 'reaction' to me opening WMP or coincidence? Temp of CPU often increases by 10-15 degrees C. Edit: using stock cooler for Q6600. Temp chanegs still occur with VLC. |

| 666894 | 2008-05-07 09:38:00 | visualisations can be very cpu intensive and use a lot of resources on your video card/motherboard, hence plenty of heating. | zqwerty (97) | ||
