| 666877 | 2008-05-07 05:20:00 | When I select "Run" and type "cmd" a window opens with some unreadable stuff in the window and then an error message saying "there was an error and this window needs to close please press exit" Can anyone suggest why this is happening please and how to fix of course. I am having problems with my broadband connection and my provider needs this window open to check something. |

Find them in the "System32" folder and change the extensions to "old" Go to the "Repair" folder (in Windows) and copy "autoexec.nt" and "config.nt" to the "system32" folder. These two files deal with the Dos emulation. |
