| 666641 | 2008-05-06 20:38:00 | HI Guys I have a Netcomm NB5Plus4 modem/router and am very pleased with it. As I now have bought a laptop and would like to use it in my dining room (by the sun) I need a wireless port. Am I best to buy a new router with a wireless port for $ 200 or is there a cheaper way of getting a wireless port, and still keeping my router to connect my three desk tops to ? |

Staying with netcomm - I installed a NB6PLUS4W in a customers house the other week, it was in her office which was down a couple of sets of stairs under the house in what can be best described as an over sized coat cupboard - range was good upstairs. They are not much more than a separate access point Prices / shops on price spy (www.pricespy.co.nz) and have less hassles. ( no worries about wrong IP Address's etc) |
