| 382606 | 2005-08-21 00:15:00 | We have a KodakCX4200 camera. The battery that came with it is a double AA in a case. 1.2a & 1600mah, NI-MH, rechargeable, about two & half years old. The battery life is now very short before charging. I have tried a pair of "Powerhaus" batts. 1.2v, 2300mah, NI-MH, newish. After taking a few photos, when it is placed in its Dock it does not charge. Would that be because the battery level has not dropped sufficiently for charging to "Kick In" ? The Kodak Dock transformer output is 3v, 2.5A. The charger is 2.4v, 0.8a. If the batteries are put into the Powerhaus charger they will show a brief charge. However when flat will charge for about an hour. Thanks for any advice, PJ :help: |

NOTE: The Camera Dock only charges the provided KODAK EASYSHARE Ni-MH Rechargeable Battery Pack. If you place the camera in the Camera Dock with any other type of batteries, rechargable or not, no charging takes place. |

I will investigate once I can get my hands on the camera agai, if ever !!!! gf. Had a look at Dick Smiths today. They have a Fuji 550 (like yours ?) for $648. We looked at it & drooled, our Fuji 3500 & Kodak will do us. Thanks for the help both. PJ |
