382493 2005-08-25 05:14:00 Got the new phone in about 2 days, the bill arived today with $48.99 for the phone.

I phoned the nice lady at telecom, and said "I took you up for the swap a 025 for a 027 cellphone, and it seems you have charged me $48.99 for the phone"

She said after a lot of keyboard nosies "Yes you have been charged, but I have now credited your account, sorry about this."

I said "Thanks, so I will pay this account minus the $48.99"

She said "Yes and sorry again."

382494 2006-02-27 07:40:00 I just bought a new 027 to replace my old 025.

The swap from my 025 to the blue nokie.. not sure of model was gonna cost me $59 so I decided to buy a better phone that will last longer.

what really pisses me off id the $10 free credit registration page on www.telecom.co.nz doesent seem to work and it tellms me to phone 0800 32 32 32 if I am unable to complete the form.. so I phoned them up and asked for my $10 credit and they told me that the website is down and they needed that page to top up my phone.. I think I should be entitled to my $10 credit so tomorrow I am gonna phone them up and complain.

I am starting to hate telecom.

You need some anger management therapy my friend, if the delay on a $10 credit upsets you that much.

Did you read the terms and conditions, especially the part that says something like: "you have to make at least one call and wait two or three days before you can access your $10 credit?" We just got our fourth phone, followed the instructions and got the credit OK, just like the previous three.

Phone them, or go to your nearest Telecom shop, they'll fix it for you. Heard of a similar case just yesterday fixed via the shop.
