I clicked on all the links! That must've taken you some time to find?
Some of those look like decent machines and it gets harder for me to decide what I want to do in the next month or so .
I have a Mac friend and he is a 200% Mac fan(and user for at least 4years) and he tries to convince me that MBP is the best of them!

But no, seriously, don't buy a Mac. You get tied into their whole ''ecosystem' of products and services. Whatever a Mac can do, a PC can do cheaper and far easier to maintain and upgrade in the long run as well.

Would you also be quite surprised by the lack of people asking things about PC's at Macworld?

As already noted they are all manufactured in the same factories, They all do the same functions, You just get far more value (read POWER) for money when you by a non-mac laptop, But some people are more interested in the brand name itself then the product.
