I run a part time business, I seek building charity projects around work to try and do something good.

I would welcome your ideas which could be of benefit.

As for helping NZ and the world, here is my great idea: A Wikipedia type site where people contribute ideas/articles/experiences etc on how to live an environmentally-friendly life. I would love to look up a site that tells me how to get rid of the used fluids from my car, how to dispose of old computer parts, what companies and multi-nationals are good/bad at pollution control, how to cool/heat my house without using so much electricity, and so on and so on.

As far as I know, it does not already exist on the internet. I think it has some potential, but it needs to be moderated very carefully otherwise interested parties and fanatics will p all over you.

382702 2005-08-21 21:40:00 I may not always agree with CB's content, but I can rarely fault his grammar & spelling. In that respect he sets an example that some should emulate. From the way he writes I suspect he is "not of this decade, or two or three". His 'speech' is of an older time. The three banned ones , on the other hand , sound quite young, & intolerant. It is everyones right to disagree with anothers opinion or actions, however there IS a proper & polite way of doing it. I do NOT claim to be perfect, nor am I up myself. I was fortunately educated way back, at a time that todays education system should at least partly try to emulate. Even the "Three R's" would be a start. PJ :2cents: :2cents: Poppa John (284)
382703 2005-08-21 21:52:00 Keep talking, some day you might say something intelligent !!!Got to love that signiture PJ, allthough i favour the idea that humans keep talking because they are afraid that if they don't, then one day thier BRAINS might start working ....... :D

As for a possitive site, I think we need more to help us focus on all the entertainment industry, particually stuff that employs personthingy... What else could be more important than that? :p

382704 2005-08-21 21:59:00 You are a very, very, lazy man -- how many times do you intend creating posts with the aim of getting others to do your thinking for you -- I feel sorry for people who lack the individual mental rigour to be able to think for themselves ...

Hmm..This guy is especially nasty to people..I was thinking that he would be ban sometime soon and he was indeed banned

382708 2005-08-22 02:36:00 Yes, indeed. A many of many words, quite often intelligent, but I think that most of the intolerance is from people who like to keep things short, sweet and to the point.

While I agree and dont like wading through a myriad of information that reminds me of many work meetings, I would rather skim-read than take to insults
