| 666924 | 2008-05-07 07:53:00 | RAM - if it is the problem can fail at any time - Some RAM is faulty from new, other RAM can out last a PC and never have any problems. Not saying it IS the RAM, just the last 4 times I have seen the page fault error message it was in those cases. If its tested and it is OK, then it is 1 item thats eliminated - fault finding is mostly a process of elimination - eliminate 1 item at a time till you are left with the fault. ALSO has this PC been overclocked - that can sometimes cause errors as well. Description of the Error --- PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA Requested data was not in memory. An invalid system memory address was referenced. Defective memory (including main memory, L2 RAM cache, video RAM) or incompatible software (including remote control and antivirus software) might cause this Stop message, as may other hardware problems (e.g., incorrect SCSI termination or a flawed PCI card). What would be helpful is the Error code something like 0X00000050 |
