666888 2008-05-07 08:31:00 Hi Folks. Running Vista Home Premium. A programme seized and froze. Ctrl Alt Del leads to the Task Manager where End Task closes the offending programme. However, the Task Manager dialogue box/window seems to lack any means of closing it... see here... www.imagef1.net.nz I'm obviously getting too old for this game...... Any ideas. Scouse (83)
666889 2008-05-07 09:06:00 odd... what are your specs? Vista runs horrible on 512MB of ram. It seems that task manager itself has died.

Does Ctrl+shift+esc yeild the same thing?

What it SHOULD look like

666890 2008-05-07 09:16:00 Double-click the edge of the window to get it out of "Small Footprint Mode".

Then try going to the Processes tab and ending the executable there (assuming you know the crashed exec's name).
