Likewise, no ads, no popups, no pop-up blocker, IE 6.

383915 2005-08-27 08:21:00 I know what you are talking about, a spinning green cross advertising HP or some other "brand" name .

I have had it on Firefox at home, at work with IE (which has the Google toolbar and pop up stopper), but only every now and then, seemingly completely at random but I suspect linked to a cookie that checks if you've seen it before and if so wont load again .

It looks like some sort of flash overlay rather than a static pop up box . Bloody annoying as you can't get rid of it till it does its thing .
