667974 2008-05-10 10:05:00 What is a good (sub $100) case to replace an old one (circa 2002)?? PSU not required but is a standard ATX PSU ATM.

It needs to have front USBs, front audio ports (preferably) and space for at least 1 fan.

Preferably from Ascent.

So far I've found:

Any of those any good?

667975 2008-05-10 10:22:00 I have used cases from your links- Case Number 2 Gigabyte GZ-X1 & number 3 Chieftec Silver Fox ATX Mid Tower Case, Silver Both solid / sturdy cases, not flimsy - others never used.

With the gigabyte the front USB/Audio ports are under the bottom swing down panel with the Gigabyte Label.

667976 2008-05-10 11:52:00 I have recently bought a gigabyte x2 chassis, it cost me about $100-120 and I have found it to be by far the best case I have ever had and its also the cheapest I have had so far. Everything is right where you want it, the tooless design works perfectly unlike other previous tooless cases I have had and I think it looks pretty nice too, in white or black. It has front audio and usb like you need however I dont use the front audio connector as I have a x-fi sound card but I assume it works fine like any other front audio connectors. LOWTEC (7821)

667978 2008-05-11 05:51:00 Try looking at the i-Cute Super 18-5G1-BB .If you have room this is big enough to fit out easily and has great cooling.
I just did my first build with one.
