667719 2008-05-09 11:24:00 yep - use it all the time in conjunction with Spybot S& D, Spyware doctor & malwarebytes .

No One Antivirus detects every thing - SUPERantispyware (http://www.superantispyware.com/) works well, the main difference between the Free and paid is the free one requires you to do some tasks manually.

Really? I have found AdAware 2007 would BSOD certian PCs during a scan .
Spyware Dr free would cause memory access errors on Windows loading on certain PCs but never found any hassles with this one .

667722 2008-05-09 20:51:00 Yup well not me, (I've never used it), but from someone else in here. Cant remember who now.

The driver for it was crashing his system. So i told him to uninstall it, which fixed the crashing / prob, I think.

Theres one or a few posts here about it I had that yesterday - Super did crash windows - well not really Super - the PC was so badly infected with spyware that when super was " Attacking / removing" it - if you can picture a huge fight going on between the antispyware and spyware - then windows crashed.

I Ran the computer in safe mode to run the cleaners to get the worst out, and guess who won;) Wasn't the spyware.

It did take several cleaners: Super, Spyware Dr, Spybot, Adaware, Combofix, malwarebytes, and spysweeper - all found bugs & Nod32

667727 2008-05-10 05:02:00 I have found today that after downloading the latest signature updates to Super-antispyware and doing a complete scan it is now marking a file called MOTA113.exe in the Windows directory as 'Trojan.Dropper/Multi-MBAD'.

In fact this file along with meta4.exe and x2.64.exe is put there by the video/audio encoding program also called Super from www.erightsoft.com, there is nothing AFAIK 'bad' about this file.
