667687 2008-05-09 10:30:00 I have no problem with outlook on my notebook in New Zealand via my own ISP Ihug, but often have problems sending (but not receiving) when using another internet connection overseas, even though the other net connection works fine with my web based email programmes (gmail etc)
Problem is, I need to create email offline and save it in outlook (or my docs) and then send when online via a web based email programme.
A solution, please?
Thanks!
Richard

667688 2008-05-09 10:58:00 Instead of using POP3, use IMAP which will keep email on multiple computers, your phone, webmail etc synced. ie. you can save the email as a draft in Outlook and next time you go online it should appear in your webmail (assuming the SMTP issue doesn't also affect IMAP). maccrazy (6741)
667689 2008-05-09 11:25:00 IMAP generally would be ideal when traveling to transfer messages as if it was on a local machine, where POP3 is generally suitable for the one pc, as described here (www.imap.org). kahawai chaser (3545)
