| 667575 | 2008-05-09 04:22:00 | Nod32 isnt working on the computer, so i went to uninstall it and it comes up with (114) Setup.xml file is damaged or missing. So i searched for setup.xml and deleted it, emptied it from recycle bin, tried to uninstall it again and same thing happened. tried installing it and a message came up Uninstalling of the previous version failed. Please uninstall it manually and run the installer again - I search for everything Nod32 and delete, it comes up with more error messages - i129.photobucket.com I go into task manager and end all tasks with nod32 in the name, it will end but less than a second later it pops up again... can anyone give any advice on what to do? I have no working AV at all at the moment on my pc!! | deno240 (13664) | ||
| 667576 | 2008-05-09 04:48:00 | Shut down NOD first. Then use Hijackthis misc tools Delete on Reboot for those persistent files. Then go through the registry and delete all NOD references there too. |
