| 384778 | 2005-08-31 03:06:00 | I have had a Sony monitor on order for the past three weeks.Cancelled it today and re-ordered from Ascent. About $100 dearer , but I will have it tomorrow. Price Spy says The Digital Shop has 22 of these monitors in stock. It also shows them as havind several other monitors in stock at very low prices. BUT they don't carry any stock. They only act as middlemen. |

| 384780 | 2005-08-31 03:17:00 | Heres a thought, Contact Ascent and ask them how many units they have in stock. What do you think the reply will be? The "in stock" note on their site refers to the suppliers having them instock, this is listed in there Faq,as well as an explanation that they hold next to nothing on there premises. This is not a knock on Ascent in any way, They are the only shop I go through when I can't get something i am after through my normal channels but they operate in much the same way as most others (they just do it better) |

I only ordered from the other place because of price. I'm giving that up though. The worry and frustration costs more than you can save. And in reply to Cicero. Have you ever had a look at the computer shops in Rotorua. About the only one that even sells monitors is DSE. That's why I am useing a Proview at the moment. |

Price Spy says The Digital Shop has 22 of these monitors in stock The number in the "Total Found" column of PriceSpy shows how many retailers have been found listing that item. It's a link so if you had clicked it you would have seen all the places you could have bought that item, ordered by price. What's wrong with your perception of PriceSpy? |
