384684 2005-08-30 22:00:00 I've been thinking about making up this game for awhile .
Thought it was time to try it out .

Games called "Where in the world am i?" but for now i'll make it "Where in NZ am i?" to keep it simple .

Ok, how the game works is that someone posts a picture and 1 clue and the first person to reply with the correct answer (the name of the destination) wins and picks the next destination . And so on .

The rules are;

1/ You must provide a link to a photo of your destination as your first clue .

2/ It doesnt have to be a photo that you took yourself . You can use any photo you want as long as its of your destination . (obviously you dont provide a link to the auckland museum's website when the museum is your destination! . Copy your picture and upload it to an image hosting site like Sals "Image F1" . x10hosting . com/upload/ . " target="_blank">imagef1 . x10hosting . com)

3/ The photo must contain a picture of or a part of the destination .

4/ It cant be of a moving object like a train, boat or Helen Clarks limo .

3/ It must be of either a place, town, object, structure, fixing, landmark, attraction, ship wreck, or of an enviromental nature like a river, cave, mountain etc .

4/ It must be available to or open to the public .

5/ You must be able to provide 3 clues .

6/ You can give GPS co-ordinates as a clue but they must be fairly accurate . (Eg; to the minute or even second depending on how complex the destination is . )

7/ You can use Lattitudes and Longitudes supplied from a map or chart (if you dont have a GPS) as clues .

8/ If 3 reguests are made by 3 different posters for a clue then you must supply one . (Ive made it like that so that 1 poster can't just reguest all the clues at once . )

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Because i'm still working out the game, rules maybe added to or modified if requested or needed .
Ok, I'll go first to get the ball rolling .
My picture . . . . . . .
IMG_1035_(Small) . jpg
Sorry, i cant get the hyperlink to work .
The image is hosted here . . . . x10hosting . com/upload/" target="_blank">imagef1 . x10hosting . com
My clue . . . .
"This place was going to be Auckland"
Good hunting, Lazydog .
Thanks.
Whenever i click on the hyperlink icon my page moves to the top of the page and thats it!?. It used to work.
I loaded up an extension for Firefox called"No Scripts". I'm wondering if this is the reason.
Maybe not. I just unloaded that extension, restarted firefox and i still cant use the hyperlink function or even any smilies for that matter?.
Nope.
I thought this one i started with might be quite easy but i didnt give much of a second clue. Might edit it abit to be abit more helpful.
Check again soon if you want.
Edit; Crap. I cant edit that first thread anymore. I'll break the rules and post another clue soon.
384689 2005-08-30 22:59:00 Ok, heres another clue to help get the game moving...
Quote, "In the early 1860's William Rawson Brame had a vision to establish a classless, nonconformist society in New Zealand.
On May 29th 1862 the migrant ships "Matilda Wattenbach" and "Hanover" departed from the London Docks bound for a Settlement in New Zealand with the first of over 3000 settlers."
When they reached there final destination those ships would of tied up at the wharf in my photo.
The place they were heading to is now called?
Your answer please...
