| 667961 | 2008-05-11 09:03:00 | If Photo Editor doesn't open an image, the problem may be one of the following: etc nice try, but remember P/E will open jpgs of sim size from other camera/s, so prolly it isnt the filter thing. .. I go try me some 'Irfanview' on your recomendation thanks Super'G ! BrooC ;-)) |

| 667962 | 2008-05-11 09:18:00 | I would give up on the Microsoft Photo Editor, which I use all the time, yes, even with having Photoshop Elements, LOL and try Irfanview that is a free pretty small program, that I 'always' use for batch editing, thumbnail viewing etc. SNAP, Irfanview loaded & running-a-treat . .. it has no trouble opening the d300 images, so it'll be for me (at least until I can get some boffin to make MS P/E behave itself! Super'G rules OK! BrooC ;-)) |

Quite so, but it was comfy & familiar like an old sock, just for such simple tasks, & this error was like having a sock that for no obvious reason would suddenly only fit the left foot! ;-)) |
