I had one for 6 months then all of a sudden they changed me $500 coz i had apparentlly gone over my limit which is wrong coz i hadnt been using my vodem any more than i had in the past 5 months. Then the next month they changed me $200. It started to get ridicules. I kept ringing up telling them that i wasnt going to pay it becasue i knew i hadnt gone over my limit especially not that much. Everytime i would ring up i got an operator that couldnt even speak english properly or someone that didnt understand me. The bill got close to $1000 then they charged me $300 for breaking by contract. I was outraged. My parents ended up paying the bill for me and im paying them off. Im still need to ring up vodafone and get it all sorted out. I want my money back they arnt gonna get away with it. But i tell you....DO NOT GET A VODEM IT WILL END UP COSTING YOU$$$$$$ Yep, I know to stay away from them as my friend was recently charged $293 out of the blue... They usually only pay $50 a month so they are quite suprised they got a bill for $293 and they've been into the vodafone shops but to no avail, they gotta pay it :S |

I decided to get Xnet Fusion anyway because it was what I wanted (naked DSL), and the other recommendations from some people - I was out of the coverage area. It is working well so far - and I am getting 750kbps upload and 3.9mb download so am happy with that, especially the upload speed! :) thanks for your help/advice :) |
