| 667880 | 2008-05-21 09:23:00 | I applied the last of my grey matter and got Gparted up and running. Can't resize C though, so will have to do a bit more reading. So far there is no indication I am doing anything wrong, but, does the free space have to be adjacent to the partition being resized? Oh and I've made a chink of the unallocated space extended, but still unallocated (not formatted). |

| 667882 | 2008-05-21 10:24:00 | Cheers SolMeister . MSs version of software RAID on top of RAID eh . I'm not sure I want dynamic disks . Besides, everything points to it being possible via Gparted or similar, so that's what I'll keep aiming for until I run out of options . I also prefer to work outside Windows for such tasks, on unmounted partitions . I'll keep the dynamic disk idea in mind if (when) I run out of options . |
