2008-05-11 01:33:00 | I have looked on Woosh website if it is available at our address but it's not... I agree that it's not very spectacular! Had it for over a year and half before...sometimes it wasn't reliable but then I was living in an area where the signal wasn't very strong (even with a boost atenna).

2008-05-11 01:47:00 | Have a look here: . nzconnection . net/Internet_Plan_and_Pricing_Comparisons#Naked_DSL" target="_blank">www . nzconnection . net At the Naked DSL providers . I like the look of xnet fusion, with the option to pick my monthly allowance and have it throttled if we go over . Will look further into this option :)

2008-05-13 02:57:00 | I've looked into the possibility of Orcon's naked DSL but unfortunately there is no coverage in my area. So, does anyone use/has used Xnet Fusion? Any comments/feedback??

2008-05-22 20:24:00 | OK if no one here has used Xnet Fusion, can you at least direct me to another forum where I can ask for people's experiences of xnet fusion? | caffy (2665) | |
2008-05-22 21:50:00 | Hi Caffy I've just signed up to xnet fusion - am in the process of hooking up all the equipment (that's tonight's plan) so can't report on how it's going so far. I spent quite a bit of time trying to decide who to use after Woosh wireless was just too slow for my boyfriend's online gaming. We are the same as you - no live telecom line. So Fusion looked like the best bet. I got quite a lot of information from the Xnet forum over on Geek Zone: www.geekzone.co.nz Cheers Susan

2008-05-23 01:22:00 | whatever you do dont get a vodafone vodem. I had one for 6 months then all of a sudden they changed me $500 coz i had apparentlly gone over my limit which is wrong coz i hadnt been using my vodem any more than i had in the past 5 months. Then the next month they changed me $200. It started to get ridicules. I kept ringing up telling them that i wasnt going to pay it becasue i knew i hadnt gone over my limit especially not that much. Everytime i would ring up i got an operator that couldnt even speak english properly or someone that didnt understand me. The bill got close to $1000 then they charged me $300 for breaking by contract. I was outraged. My parents ended up paying the bill for me and im paying them off. Im still need to ring up vodafone and get it all sorted out. I want my money back they arnt gonna get away with it. But i tell you....DO NOT GET A VODEM IT WILL END UP COSTING YOU$$$$$$ | stellar (13720) | |
