384172 2005-08-28 21:27:00 Thanks Vinny. To be honest, I am not sure I followed all that you explained but it sounds impressive and well worth a try.

A friend told me that MS Word has an option for encryption. I have not tried it yet but from Word's Help file:

Require a password to open or modify a file
When you create a password, write it down and keep it in a secure place. If you lose the password, you cannot open or gain access to the password-protected document.

Open the file.
On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click Security.
Do one of the following:
Create a password to open

In the Password to open box, type a password, and then click OK.
In the Reenter password to open box, type the password again, and then click OK.
Create a password to modify

384173 2005-08-29 04:58:00 I can reset the password on any word doc with a small program I have in about a minute Steve, it then takes me another 30 seconds to remove the password altogether.

This is me taking my time and working slowly too ;-)

Being a MS program, why am I not surprised? :D
