| 1426575 | 2016-09-28 03:32:00 | Does Cobian Backup have a restore function ? I couldnt see any restore option , Is it really just a sync program & not a backup despite what it calls itself ? Real issue is , I can see the ~backup~ on the USB, and numerous "incremental"s . If its doing incremental, surely it must have a restore ??? Do I have restore do this manually , copy & paste , with a manual copy of the full "backup" then copy each "incremental" |

| 1426576 | 2016-09-28 21:22:00 | Ok, it turns out that Cobian has no restore function, making it totally worthless :badpc: :badpc: Just FYI, if anyone else comes across this issue I found this script which seems to recover from multiple incrementals > You will need to tweek it www.urbansouldesign.co.uk Anyone using cobian , I'd advise you to try a few test recoveries. Either use another program or disable incrementals (if possible) |
