My fingers cannot feel things correctly - not like when I was working as a mechanic - I could tell a 10sillimeter bolt head from a 3/8" one at 30 paces or by braille behind an exhaust manifold, under the power steering reservoir, the engine running . When I type now - and I never was really good - I mean if someone erased the letters on the key-thingies, then I'd be mute . But I could type pretty fast if I kept looking at the keys . I can still type really fast, but then I have to go back and repair all the typos from FF-Syndrome . Some sentences take me three attacks as I'm also fighting my spellchunkler at the same time . I think I've got it right and then IT changes a word to something else . Don't get old . Or have a TIA, Or a stroke . Or Vertigo . Or osteoporosis . Or blood clots . Or Tinnitus . Or COPD . Let's not EVEN talk about my prostate! All I'll say is that I can still write my name in the snow . But my name has to be Dot . |

My mum used to say that all the time to me - don't get old. Well, the alternative is? Shoot yourself when young? |
