| 1426731 | 2016-10-03 01:57:00 | I would go back to Win 7 if I could but this Laptop was purchased new with Win 8 installed and Win 7 is no longer available. Yes, Win95 was good in its day but Hardware became an issue in the end. I'm still in awe of what could be done with 640k of RAM and a 20Mb HDD. :) Win8 Pro has downgrade rights, so you can downgrade . Its a pain though, you have to wipe/reinstall & then find a Win7 key to use & then talk to the nice MS Indians explaining why you are reusing the win7 key (usually just ph activation works) Downgrading a laptop to 7....manual install of all the drivers as well. Cant (legally ) downgrade from 7Home though , although many just re-use 7 OEM install keys regardless . I get the feeling youre winding us up with some of this? :) (some of it) |

I only found it because the last update (yesterday) on my Wifes Laptop screwed it and I was looking for a fix. She is so happy. :D I wonder if the fix you refer to didn't fix all the cameras so they've had another go and stuffed some that were working? Anyway, I've told her to wait five or six weeks and there should be a fix, but don't expect any audio once it's applied. :devil |
