I was in the backyard this am working in the campervan and could see big wet flakes of snow in the rain but of course none of it settled where we are - too wet. | John H (8) | ||

The lake looks really strange this morning - it has no movement that is visible from Acacia Bay and it looks as though it is iced over! Weird. |

LL Napier Taupo road still closed according to most recent reports. There is still snow on Tauhara - it looks like it comes down to about the bypass. It looks much skinnier than it did yesterday, but I don't know why, cos there has been no rain and there wasn't much sun yesterday. We are having a lovely crisp sunny morning with blue skies, so the snow may be gone soon. There was ice in the recycling this am, and the camper van was iced over! |
