| 1426403 | 2016-09-23 06:51:00 | I use Outlook Mail for a Hotmail account but I am unable to close down/exit via the usual button at top-right of the page. I click the 'hand' but nothing happens. Only way out seems to be to close the Tab down. Can anyone please suggest a remedy? Peter. |

| 1426405 | 2016-09-23 09:03:00 | If that doesn't have any result, open a run box ( type in run in the search) type in Outlook /safe Click OK, try closing Outlook, if it closes then there is some sort of corruption or add-on causing a problem. | wainuitech (129) | ||

I have a W10 PC here, ( one of several) often when opening Microsoft documents or Other office programs, they misbehave ( go slow, wont close etc. looking into the problem Runtime Broker is the cause, killing it fixes the problem. Its designed to run in conjunction with modern apps. Solving the problem completely - that's a different story, so many possibilities. AND it only does it sometimes, so I cant make it play up. |
