| 1424101 | 2016-08-05 21:10:00 | How are you folks doing in this bad weather spell? Been raining here in Hawke's Bay for the last 24 hrs, heavy snow down to 200M and a gale warning. Eight degrees at his time. Brrrr, I am going to light a fire (in the log fire :) ) and watch the Olympic opening ceremony then the rugby finals tonight. Ken :banana |

There's a splattering on te Port Hills here and cold. Mind you it is winter and we need global warming to huury up and reach us, lol. lurking. |

We have been warned that there may be more cuts. 7 degrees here. Apart from that we are fine. A roaring fire going and watching the countries march into the stadium. Am recording the highlights later as we didn't see any of the opening antics. Ken |
