| 668694 | 2008-05-12 22:42:00 | I'm trying to install a slipstreamed XP SP3 on an Acer Aspire 5020. I changed the boot priority to CD, started the installation, formatted to NTFS (strangely it used FAT32 previously), and then started the installation. I got to 96% of the installation loading when the laptop crashed. I wondered if it was a power issue, and it still may be, so I took the battery out to see if it made any difference. The things still crashing. And I'm not impressed. Is there anything I've missed out? |

It wakes up in the middle of an installation. The weird thing is though, that in the interim there were no drive sounds, all LED's were off. To the casual observer it had crashed. I'm puzzled. But it's working so I don't care. Anyway. Thanks. |
