2005-09-08 06:51:00 | Its the 3rd installment in one of the biggest selling computer game series of all time. Age of Empires 3, its also big.... Anyhow, All the threads I have read about it elsewhere are giving negative feedback....

2005-09-08 10:54:00 | It seems that a lot of the new games are getting negative feedback. I guess people (me included) just expect higher and higher quality of games. Well, so we should :D | mejobloggs (264) | |
2005-09-08 11:27:00 | Yep, with every new game released the hounds move in to rubbish it and put everyone off, stupid behaviour. I ignore crap like that and try and filter out the kiddies looking for attention, worthwhile views can be found. The reason I mentioned the negative feedback in this case is because I looked on a number of forums i visit and near everybody was asking "is this it?" even posters who would no way lower themselves to bashing a game to be part of some idiotic crowd. I would have expected the much anticipated AOE3 impress at least a few people. Anyhow, i will reserve judgement till I have played the demo, though I am no longer in any rush

2005-09-08 12:23:00 | Well I just spent some time with a friend playing the F.E.A.R demo. Quite long for a demo, and you can save. Quite excellent physics and detail and nice gruesome creepy bits too. The slowmo during battle was quite fun although friend sneered at it being "not realistic". I thought the creepy girl walking on the blood covered ceiling was not "realistic". But is was great - will buy that one. And I don't like a lot of FPSs. Did possibly seem to require a fairly grunty system though... | pctek (84) | |

2005-09-09 00:44:00 | What exactly about AOEIII that people are complaining about? I'm no gamer, but I have played these types: AOE, Rise of NAtions, Empire Earth, Rome: Total War etc, and they are very good. Makes me want to get an XP box just to play them. Another strangely good one is Children of the Nile.
