| 385779 | 2005-09-05 00:11:00 | how does the bittorent work (I have never used it), I read Jens comment about azuereus is it a client or is it a whole program? (perhaps i should start a thread about it) | Morgenmuffel (187) | ||
| 385780 | 2005-09-05 00:59:00 | Bittorrent is more like a P2P program, you take some data, you give back data Well just reading back up the threads I can't give the link to the Torrent so, Poodoo |

| 385781 | 2005-09-05 01:04:00 | Ok I've installed it, with azuerus but I get stuck at the listen port thing I am on a computer with a firewall (pc-cillin 2005) connectedto a switch which connects to a router, what do I do here? |
Morgenmuffel (187) | ||
| 385782 | 2005-09-05 01:06:00 | allow the firewall access to the internet edit: also allow the router to forward ports to the internet give us the make and model of the router and we can work it out from there |

| 385786 | 2005-09-06 07:42:00 | Greetings from linspire Bit sluggish in parts, but pretty good nonetheless. Was there a free subscription to CNR warehouse included or not? as I can't see one, but I did see it mentioned on a discussion group somewhere, might have to have a hunt methinks, heaps of little linux games and my favourite game "UFO: Alien Invasion" and no stuffing round to install them Any thanks all especially bob_doe for the help with my router |
Morgenmuffel (187) | ||
| 385787 | 2005-09-06 07:56:00 | No, CNR wasn't included. you could have used the coupon for the CNR edition, but all the coupon was was a $49 discount, (hence "free" linux), so it could have teen used on the CNR edition, but you'd still have to pay the extra $40 Anyway, fine time for blowing the dsl cap and limited to 64k ;_; |
