| 668719 | 2008-05-16 04:55:00 | There are lots of different styles of external enclosures, but they all work pretty much the same, you connect in the Hard Drive to the plugs in the Enclosure, screw it all together, plug it into the mains power, and USB on your PC and away you go. For a standard HD you need a 3.5" Enclosure - these require an external power source ( comes with it) as the USB does not supply enough power to run up a 3.5" HD. |
