Thanks for your replay. Didn't think posting a question set me up for ridicule!
Perhaps I should seek a more proffesional forum!
Hve purchased the mag and CD and will pass it on to my grandies.
Most dissapointed in the support but appreciate your response.

Best Regards Colin

Dear 64 y/o IT professional...-20 points for poor spelling.

Grade: C -

Next week: Grammar tests! :p

We require no less than professional spelling from such self-esteemed persons.
And nor do we need people picking on other's spelling mistakes. With that sort of response, colin is quite correct about this forum and how it treats people.

SurferJoe46: Consider this an official slap on the wrist for deliberately picking on a member, and a new one to boot. Not impressed.

Pick on me! Pick on me! I don't mind SurferJoe picking on my English... :D
Okay, sorry, didn't know this is serious stuff, no more jokes from me

386833 2005-09-09 10:27:00 I lusted after the Encylopedia since I was 9 years old. But it was always phenomenally expensive. About $6000 in todays terms.

At last I bought a 1980 set in 1990 - for $100. Most enjoyable. Even better I bought a 1963 edition for my office for $30 and it is very useful. Serendipitously this was the same edition I first saw as a boy. Certainly some of the science is out of date but the history, and geography are fine.
