| 668904 | 2008-05-13 09:56:00 | Got a Vostro 1200 (12.1" widescreen), with a 6 cell battery. 2ghz T7250 Core 2 Duo. 4gb ram, X3100 intel integrated hoping for about 3 hours battery under light use with wifi off (word processing with winamp), and from reviews they I had read "good battery life" etc. But barely reaching 2 hours, so pretty unhappy with it. Even with undervolting it and making it "stick" at 1.2Ghz it doesn't reach it. So was going to return it and rehunt for maybe a 14" laptop with a 9 cell. As it has more than 50% extra battery life, which wouldnt be nullified by the fact its a 2" bigger screen. |
