giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally . The
test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you
will have to make a decision .

Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous . You are
in Wellington, N . Z . to be specific . There is chaos all around you caused
by a cyclone with severe flooding . This is a flood of major
proportions .

You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're
caught in the middle of this epic disaster . The situation is nearly
hopeless . You're trying to shoot career-making photos . There are houses
and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water .
Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury .

Suddenly you see a woman floundering in the water . She is fighting for
her life, trying not to be taken down with the debris . You move closer .
. . somehow the woman looks familiar . You suddenly realise who it is .
It's Helen Clark . At the same time you notice that the raging waters are
about to pull her under .

You have two options--you can save the life of "Little Helen" or you can
shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the demise of
the New Zealand Prime Minister .

So here's the question, and please give an honest answer :

Would you select high contrast colour film, or would you go with the
classic simplicity of black and white?

388188 2005-09-13 22:56:00 Would you select high contrast colour film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?Neither, I would be shooting digital, and would be able to go to black and white later if I thought it looked better.

388190 2005-09-14 00:40:00 I'd rescue her provided she gave me cheap broadband.

(The we'd do a photo-op as I first get connected.)

(IF it was Don "we need more billionairesd" Brash I'd say 'I've got my hand out to you, Don. Whether you wish to take it or drown on your own two feet is up to you.") :D

Nah bollocks, really I'd rescue anyone that I could. Face it. So would 99% of us. It's what we people are. We do help each other all the time, regardless of political flavouring. Pressf1 is a good example. All you "stand on your own two feet" types are here helping just liike us unwashed commies.

Before the last election, Labour sent my dentist the usual mail-out-vote-for-me stuff. He sent the material addressed to Helen along with his business card and a letter offering to fix her teeth! :D

388195 2005-09-14 22:55:00 Great joke Steve - an oldie but a goodie.
BTW I voted last week - as robsonde said "vote early and vote often!". Just tell them you will be out of your electorate on Saturday & beat the rush....
