I don't make the program, mostly I install Avast if the customer has not specified a preference. Why not CLICK on the update button instead of waiting for it. Or use another AV. |

Rosalene in New Zealand This is a known problem with AVG 8 I suggest you stay with AVG 7.5 meantime, you will still be able to obtain updates for this until the end of the year. |

If you are using the free version, I highly recommend dumping it and moving to Avast, it is way better. And if you have the paid version, change to NOD32 when the time comes to renew, if you are happy with paying for AV software. You will find that sentiment will be echoed by >70% of this forum. |
