A 500VA transformer would handle those with no problem. But a 500VA tranformer is heavy and expensive. I wouldn't want to carry one as hand luggage. ;)\ It's best to go for gear which will take our 230V. ;) A printer will probably have the universal 100-260V input rating; computer manufacturers have realised that there is a "world" outside the US (maybe because most printer manufacturers are in Japan. :D) |

A transformer for this is not bad  The Epson printes are not intl voltage, I've checked, both ones from here or ones in the US. Regarding the stereo thingy I gonna get the receiver in Asia or in NZ. I read a bit more about that receiver I was interested in, wasn't good, all hyped up marketing and dear do they get the legal team on you if you bad mouth them. With a nomal receiver I just need one plug so that makes ease too :D Perhaps a Onkyo ;) And, yes I have seen the weight from the 500VA transformers, they weigh 6kg from Jaycar. Thanks for the info Billy. Why are they so big, their power packs in the unit isn't near as big. They don't look too good either being in the lounge. Regards.. |
