389682 2005-09-21 18:24:00 Ctrl + T = bookmark :groan: Not used to such shortcut key, since I am used to this key combination for creating another tab in Firefox

No recognition for Ctrl + Enter in the URL, by merely typing "google" and press Ctrl + Enter at the same time doesn't add "http://www . " and " . com" towards google . :groan:

Doesn't import any other browser's bookmark, not that friendly, eh?

Cheers :)

389684 2005-09-21 21:47:00 Ctrl + T = bookmark :groan: Not used to such shortcut key, since I am used to this key combination for creating another tab in FirefoxSurely a young person like you can soon relearn Ctrl+N for opening a new tab and Ctrl+T for bookmarks? ;)

No recognition for Ctrl + Enter in the URL, by merely typing "google" and press Ctrl + Enter at the same time doesn't add " . " and " . com" towards google . :groan: You don't need Ctrl+Enter in Opera - all you need to do is type, for example, "google" then press Enter and it will automatically add "http://www . "" target="_blank">www . " and " . com" towards google . :groan: You don't need Ctrl+Enter in Opera - all you need to do is type, for example, "google" then press Enter and it will automatically add "http: and " . com" . Just watch that you don't put a dot (period) in the address or it will not work properly, eg don't use google . com .

To have more control go to Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Server name completion and set your preferences in there, if necessary . You may also want to untick "Look for local network machine" unless you need to look for a local network machine .

And anyway, if you want to search Google, just type g search word and the Google page will open with the results .

Doesn't import any other browser's bookmark, not that friendly, eh?Oh yes it does! Go to Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks > File > Import and Export and choose which browser's Bookmarks/Favourites you wish to import .

Browsing the Opera forums ( . opera . com/community/forums/" target="_blank">my . opera . com), particularly the Customisation section, allows to pick up lots of tips on how to customise Opera exactly how you want it . It can do heaps of things that you wonder how you lived without after you have tried them .

Opera is the best . ;)
