Ah yes, those really irritating websites where you have no choice but to fill out one of those online forms if you want something. I hate that. Extremely. Just because someone might want to buy one thing does NOT mean they want spam forever just because some ***********e shop owner thinks its a good way to advertise. |

You do not have to become an acc. holder to buy off the website. I only put acc. holders who have supplied an e-mail address (not required) and people who have e-mailed me on the mailing list. I don't have any fancy programmes to do this, I simply copy and paste from acc. holders info or inbox to contacts list. This is a tedious task! |

This is a tedious task!I think its a better practice to keep the email on your database for the purpose of informing customers of any problems with accounts, that their ordered gear is now here, that sort of thing . One thing that this thread has shown goes down like a cup of cold sick, is getting email that trys to sell stuff, unless its specificy requested . I said what i felt, however indirectly . You may not get wind of what other customers may think . They may simply filter your address, they may complain to others . Unrequested marketing is the scurge of the inbox . |
