| 389466 | 2005-09-19 11:44:00 | The snow has been fairly heavy down by the Heathcote river in ChCh and I will be spending the next day or two cutting down all the broken branches, parts of trees and collapsed hedges in our garden and the walkway outside and generally tidying up instead of computing. Tonight is not looking too hot either. I spent two hours this morning shaking off snow from the shrubs and plants so they would not break under the weight (there was almost no wind at that time) and then climbing a tree whilst it was snowing to free up the power and telephone lines, that pass through two or three trees, cutting of limbs and branches that were being weighed down by snow. What a total waste of my time. Just like 1992. Damn, I hate snow. |
