i was there recently and noticed the stickers and thats one reason why i asked.....didnt understand what they were for.
I had to get new vid card the other day as lost other one....and a new password to go with it......more things to remember.............

watching more dvd since getting new cheap player than before....much better than playstation dvd playing.....

389730 2005-09-20 12:46:00 I buy zone one discs from Amazon.com often. I just had a bunch arrive today.

Zone one discs often have more extras than the same zone 4 disc. Here's a useful site for comparing the difference between zone 1 & 4 (www.michaeldvd.com.au) for many movies.

DVD regions:
Region 1 - 1: U.S., Canada, U.S. Territories
Region 2 - Japan, Europe, South Africa, and Middle East (including Egypt)
Region 3 - Southeast Asia and East Asia (including Hong Kong)
Region 4 - Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Central America, Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean
Region 5 - Eastern Europe (Former Soviet Union), Indian subcontinent, Africa, North Korea, and Mongolia
Region 6 - Peoples Republic of China
Region 7 - Reserved
Region 8 - Special international venues (airplanes, cruise ships, etc.)
