390192 2005-09-22 11:40:00 This seems to me a good idea. I get p*********d off from a great height about this. Can you just yank it off?

It's not as if I (or anyone else I've ever heard about) ever uses it.

Like maybe with a pair of needle-nose pliers or a small screwdriver?

Just wondering. Really annoys me.

390195 2005-09-22 12:43:00 Thanks Metla I'll have a look around that. At the first shot it didn't work and I do still have W98. Many thanks. Nice to know others want to murder the capslock.

I'd like to pull its gizzards across the tennis court.

390196 2005-09-22 15:40:00 Poping the key off would look ugly, just unscrew the million and a half screws on the back and place some folded paper under the key. Rob99 (151)

390198 2005-09-22 21:46:00 I thought there was a way you could map your keys to something else.
ie: Change caps so it was esc or something else.

390199 2005-09-23 00:29:00 Thanks Rob99. I installed that brainsystems one and works fine. Suppose I should have had a look myself first. I usually do.

But anyway thanks pal.

(You Jedis sure are a handy bunch.)

390200 2005-09-23 01:03:00 Is the caps lock key the least used on the keyboard? I would think its a close run.. in that case why the heck is it in such a dominant position anyway! It could be exiled to the middle patch with the home and end keys. netchicken (4843)
390201 2005-09-23 01:13:00 Totally agree there. Having it right next to the shift is asking for it :badpc: mark c (247)
