670870 2008-05-19 19:59:00 Ubuntu 8.04 and we use both KDE and Gnome desktops with a USB flash drive.
The drive automounts in Gnome and is "Disk-1" but it does not automount in KDE and is called "Disk".How to automount on KDE and keep the same name between desktops?

670871 2008-05-20 06:56:00 Its not possible to right-click on it and rename it in one or the other? Chilling_Silence (9)
670872 2008-05-20 17:59:00 If I do then next change of desktop changes it back. kjaada (253)
670873 2008-05-21 00:17:00 Apparently renaming it in Windows helps?

I believe you can change the name when formatting it in Linux as well with the mkfs.msdos command, but Ive not done it for a while.
