Stuped thing to say, You seem to think people are as thick as a bag of hammers and just dislike MS because they make money, I couldn't care less if they sank or swim. Their tactics and poor quality control are what they are judged on, not their wallets. Im not saying everyone is, but lets face it a large amount of people don't like microsoft simply because they make money, or because its the most popular OS and they want to be different. They are the evil empire, and as soon as Google takes them over (if they do) then theyll become the evil empire. People will ***** about them, lawsuits and Europian Commisions wills follow because they intergrated there Google Talk and Google Play and Google Watch programs into there OS and people will move onto something else. So good on you (and others) who choose a different OS because its suits you better and is more morally accceptable, and not because MS makes money. But i don't think its a stupid thing to say because it can be true for some people. |

Can't say I have ever met an adult who had an issue with MS simply because they make a profit.... |

Well yes, it is a computer forum and, on the surface at least, MS has a far greater impact on computer users than the others you mention . But, that ignores the wider world, let alone purely coprorate misdemeanors, doesn't it . What about pharmaceutical companies, other bio-tech, weapons, food conglomerates (agri business too, hacking down the Amazon, etc,) . A whole new thread or threads perhaps . |
