| 391952 | 2005-09-29 06:35:00 | Why does fish has no blood?Leave the smart arse replies off the board. You know the drill well, you have been warned plenty of times before about these sorts of posts which are completely un-necessary. 24 hour bans don't seem to work, so you have just got yourself a 72 hr ban. Harsh? Yes. Get the message. sun: You had probably better expand upon what you are trying to achieve and what sort of environment you wish to use this in/on/with etc. |

| 391953 | 2005-09-29 06:40:00 | But.....Why does fish has no blood? Seriously, Thats not a bannable offence no matter what context you put it in. And if your getting frustrated it should have zero bearing on the situation. Back to boot camp I reckon. |

| 391954 | 2005-09-29 06:43:00 | Hi If you don't want to keep this as a number then I would introduce a couple of random elements like the time of day that the encoding was done and some other environmental variable(s). Use these to create some sort of 'header' that has some check digits so that when you unencrypt it you know that it is a valid header but also use it as the basis for transforming the number into apparently random non-repeating ascii characters that would be a lot longer than the original 12 characters. Quite easy really....but we probably need more information. Andrew |

Some people continually post little smart arse, unfriendly comments here and there knowing that they will only get yet another warning or maybe a 24hr ban. They show no intention of stopping that behaviour. He knows the rules and our stance on such comments and has more than his share of warnings. Getting tough. | Jen (38) | ||
