| 392418 | 2005-10-01 02:30:00 | A good friend of mine is looking to buy a new digcam and he has his eye on an Olympus C 770...... specs: 10x optical, 4 Mp, or see details here: www.cameras.co.uk He says Parallel Imports has a good price and that DSE may match it. (Cannot find web site of PImport). It is not a small camera and it does not take AA batteries but this is fine with him. Are there other cameras that are better at around the same price? Any other advice I can pass on to him? Thanks! |

| 392422 | 2005-10-02 00:44:00 | getting dse to match pi prices is like trying to get blood out of a stone, i went in, the only stock they had left of the sony dsc w1s was shop soiled, the manager said, oh we will take $10 of the price (hello???), then the said that to match the etop price they needed an original newspaper advertisement with the date, the actual company name, the item, a detailed description, the price, and gst, actual availability, plus you have to live in a region that has a pi store or they wont do it, i went to etop in the end and i have to say it was the best retail experience i have ever had, ever, friendly, fast curtious, need i say more, shop PI rather than dse | Tux (606) | ||
