393465 2005-10-06 01:57:00 Just a thought - don't know if it will work though:

Wrap a very thin strip of metallic tape around the ring part of the 3.5mm plug, which will "pad" that part out a bit further, and hopefully contact it with the socket.

393466 2005-10-06 04:59:00 The solution, although inelegant may be to unsolder the socket from the circuit board and replace it with a short length of 3 core (preferably shielded) cable, fitting an in-line 3.5 mm socket that hangs outside the unit. godfather (25)
393467 2005-10-06 05:13:00 The problem with that is that it's probably a surface mounted device (SMD) socket, and it can be "interesting" to work on that stuff if you haven't got good soldering equipment. Graham L (2)

393469 2005-10-24 01:12:00 problem solved~
the problem wasn't in the connector from socket to plug
it was the problem from the board to socket
the solidering actually came off
then turning and twisting the plug was only making the socket touch the board

the friend who opened my mp3 up opened up his old mp3 player which had the same problem of bad connection and also notice the solidering came off

so..anyone els having the same problem might want to open the player up and have a look
