671971 2008-05-23 22:40:00 Hi All

My SeaMonkey profile seemed to have got corrupted (few random broken links on pages that I opened with this profile that opened fine on SeaMonkey using another profile?). Anyway I downloaded a new SeaMonkey version but didn't uninstall the old, just updated it. No good. So I deleted the faulty profile then recreated it. THEN 1) I seem to have lost all my emails within that profile and 2) The broken links are still there - probably a registry issue??

My main concern is can I get the lost email inbox, address book, etc. back? If so any suggestions as to how?

(As a secondary issue - how to fix the broken profile. Not a major issue as I can use another named profile and all works fine.)
Many thanks

671972 2008-05-23 23:21:00 Hmm. You'll probably find the missing stuff by going through Windows Explorer. Check where by using the other profile to see where the stuff is located.

Also, for the future, Mozbackup (http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/) may be helpful.

Unfortunately all seems to be lost. Lessons learned: backup and use web mail!
