| 672939 | 2008-05-27 02:32:00 | Hi there ! I've old floppy disks with 95year works files, extentions wks, that my PC with windows XP wouldn't open . Any ideas what to do? Thanks |

In Excel when you try to open them change the "Files Of Type" box to Microsoft Works 2.0 Files *.wks, it might help open them. If you still can't you might have to install Microsoft Works to read them. |

| 672946 | 2008-05-27 06:15:00 | have a look at This page from MS (www.microsoft.com) down the bottom, second from the bottom is a converter,you may be able to convert the files from wks to Office 2003 formats. Cant try it as I dont have any works files. |
