| 395811 | 2005-10-13 07:53:00 | Hi there, I'm in the process of trying to sell my laptop because it just isn't been used like I bought it for. I'm well aware there is TradeMe, but this will mean the possibility of shipping the laptop elsewhere in New Zealand which I do not want. Does anyone know of a good website where I can advertise for free, or minimal fee, and get buyers locally from Auckland paying in cash? (I have put an ad on Metla's TradeF1 as well; been there for ages now -but to no success -not even one enquirie! ... even without a price tag, as I'm not too fussed as long as it goes to good use and sell for around what I want for it!!) :help: |

They're called the Wednesday Mover, and the Thursday Trader, both allow you to put free text-only adverts in. The buyer pays around $3 for a copy of the brochure, and it is actually veyr popular. There might be a similar service to this in Auckland. |

As for the $50 success fee, just charge $50 more, theres lots of idiots on trademe who think they're getting a bargin when sometimes they're paying more than it would cost in a shop |
